Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
There are daily flights from Kansas City to Minneapolis, including a convenient nonstop option on Delta. Minneapolis is 92 miles from The Lismore Hotel in Eau Claire, WI—about a 96-minute drive. You’re welcome to rent a car from MSP (the airport is right next to the Mall of America, if you feel like a little adventure), or you can take one of the hourly shuttles that run between the airport and Eau Claire.

If you’re flying into Minneapolis–St. Paul and prefer not to rent a car, you have a great option. We’ve used the Groome Transportation shuttle* many times—it’s easy, safe, and very reliable. Groome shuttles depart hourly from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport between 4:35 a.m. and 12:35 a.m. The trip to Eau Claire takes about two hours, with a few brief stops along the way. Tickets are approximately $55 per person, one way. If you plan to take the Groome shuttle to Eau Claire and then stay at the farm, please reach out to the bride and groom to coordinate a ride—the farm is about an hour from Eau Claire. *Not technically a train, but the website insisted.

Though it’s 45 miles from the wedding venue (about a 55-minute drive), it’s a comfortable, stylish hotel set in one of the most scenic parts of the city. For guests choosing to stay at the Lismore, we’ve arranged a complimentary shuttle to the venue. It will depart from the hotel at 1:30 p.m. and will have staggered options for returns.
