Question

Do I need a passport to go to PR ?

Answer

Given that it is a US territory, US citizens DON'T need a passport to visit Puerto Rico.

Question

Transportation

Answer

The area of San Juan counts with Uber and Lyft service. The area of Orocovis does not. Reason why we highly suggest booking a hotel or airbnb in that location at least the night of the wedding.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence on our big day is enough but if you are feeling generous, we are registered on Zola. You may access our registry by selecting the "Registry" tab on the top of this page.

Question

Can I bring additional guests?

Answer

Sorry, but no. If your invitation does not indicate guests aside from those listed on the invitation, please do not bring additional guests.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Puerto Rico is a tropical island with warm weather year round but it is slightly “cooler” between December and February. All of the wedding activities will be outside. Please note that because of the tropical weather, rain showers can happen at any time.

Question

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET AROUND IN PR?

Answer

If you’re looking to travel the Island in your own or venture beyond the immediate area of San Juan, there are more than 14 car rental companies available. Booking in advance is recommended and if staying at a hotel, you'd need to pay to store your vehicle nightly. For those planning on driving to various parts Puerto Rico, trust Waze to get around. Also, be advised that the mountain roads through the center of the Island can be winding and may take longer to drive. If driving is not for you and you’re planning on staying in closer proximity to San Juan, taxis are easy to find throughout metro areas like Condado, Santurce, Isla Verde, Miramar, Ocean Park, and other nearby districts. Public buses and train (Tren Urbano) offer various routes in the metro area. Ridesharing in Puerto Rico is only common in the districts near San Juan. Uber is currently the only major rideshare company offering its services on the island. You may rent scooters but if you decide to rent one, please make sure to stay off major highways.
