7PM Arrive promptly! 7:15pm The procession will start. Claire will be escorted by her father, David, down the aisle by 7:20. If early, you can spend time at The Jasper or another establishment on Cary Street until the doors open at 7PM. 7:35pm Champagne Toast And beyond.. mingle, drink, eat, dance!

What to expect Saturday, at our cocktail reception

Can Can Brasserie is a well-known and loved restaurant in Richmond, with an open dining room and large bar. Instead of a sit-down dinner, we will be serving a very bountiful and wide range of light and heavy hors d'ouevres. Some will be passed around but there will also be serving stations. We will also be serving varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and a premium selection of liquor and specialty cocktails. There will not be any designated table seating which encourages mingling and dancing, but there still will be plenty of seating. There will be designated seating for any guests in need.

Our welcome party will have a wide assortment of delicious food. The restaurant is called PBR, Pizza & Beer of Richmond, but the chef is tapping into his Michelin star background for the event.

Do I have to wear black to a semiformal wedding?
Answer
Absolutely not! Tommy and Claire chose the first day of spring for a reason. They love spring and color, and are excited to celebrate in the season of spring after a drab winter. Also, Claire is from vibrant south Florida. Have fun with all the color! But black is also welcome! No limits, no rules.

I see children

Tommy is an adoring uncle to 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He's quite literally the best uncle of all time. They will be present on Saturday for the ceremony. Any children are welcome to Friday's event!

Transportation
Answer
Friday: The venue is located in The Fan District. If you plan to drive, give yourself time for street parking. It’s a very busy and exciting area! We are also looking into transportation from the hotels. Saturday: Parking is very limited in Carytown, where Can Can is located. Trolley transportation will be provided Saturday night to and from the hotels where we have room blocks. If driving, please plan on giving yourself plenty of time to find street parking on Cary Street or surrounding neighborhood streets. More details regarding timing of trolleys will be provided at a later time.
