Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Cecilia Hawes and Joshua Giberti
These individuals will be walking and standing with us on our day of love and unity. As we bond not only ourselves but our families together in love and light. Below we have each written a note to each person in our Wedding Party and for each other. From Cecilia and Joshua with love.

Cecilia

Bride

Heyyyy Babyyy, I probably tell you every day how exited I am for us to get married, but here is my chance to tell you one more time before we tie the knot. You don't understand how incredibly lucky I feel, and yes, I am the lucky one. We have gone through a lot together, from Seaweed to New Market, from Lewiston to Lebanon. You have always been by my side supporting me, lifting me up, and teaching me at any chance you get get. Through thick and thin, you have always loved me, and I have never doubted your love for me. I cannot wait to start this next chapter of our lives together, and I know Koba and Maru are excited too. I don't want to spoil too many of my vows in this paragraph, but just know, ill be right by your side, till 3005, and I cant wait to say I do in front of everybody we love and care about.

Joshua

Groom

To my Honeypot, I want you to know that I will always be right by your side. I know when times get hard we both tend to think of the worst case scenario, but just know that I am always going to be here, fighting every battle with you, and never against you. Together we are united and I will never break that unity, I intend to love you fiercely and forever. You have given me a life that I never knew I was worthy of living, and you helped ignite a spark that I thought was gone for so many years. You light me up with your humor and your laughter, and may we continue to laugh, cry and work together, and hold each other through it all. My sweet man, my forever and then some, here's to us. Thank you for all you've done, do, and continue to do, I love you Joshua.

Eden

Maid of Honor

As my eldest sister and best friend, it is only right that you hold the Maid of Honor title on such a beautiful day. As we have been through so much together, and held each other up time and time again, I entrust you to stand by my side through such an important day. We lived together as children and adults and we have a bond that I am so grateful for, and I hope it grows even stronger in the years to come! I miss seeing you everyday and being able to rant at each other about stupid work stuff. We would go roller skating every Thursday and walk all over Lewiston/Auburn. I think one of my favorite memories is when we walked all the way to the Lotus to get Chinese food walking the railroad tracks like we were in Stand By Me. I have watched you grow and become such a strong and powerful woman, a few years ago we were both at the lowest lows of our lives and together we pulled each other out of the trenches. You have given me my own strength and shown me just how capable I can be especially when it counts the most. Thank you for all of your support, regardless of age, you're a model to follow. You are one of the most courageous and determined people I know and I will always look up to you! I love you so much Eden!

Logan

Best Man

Logan! I moved to Windham halfway through 5th grade, and have known you ever since. We became close friends probably sophomore or Junior year of high school, and you have been one of my closest friends ever since. You have been a mentor to me in a few different ways, and you have always been there for me. When I needed a home, twice, you and your family welcomed me with open arms, and I would not be where I am now without you. From Aroma Joes runs during study hall, to putting holes in floors, you have always been there. I can rely on you for literally anything, and I hope my play by play text updates of all the NHL games never get annoying, we'll just have to get to more games in person. Theres is nobody I would rather have to golf with, watch hockey with, disc golf with, ski with, or just get drunk with. You will always be one of my best friends, and our kids are going to be in the NHL. Thank you for accepting the roll of best man, I know you'll kill it Logang.

Kyleigh

Bridesmaid

As the sister that I always knew would be the wild child, you have such a strong head on your shoulders and your passionate about everything you strive to do. You are one of the first of the Hawes house to move across the country and you did it with such strength and confidence. We grew up sharing a room for many years and may have had our differences, but it has never changed how much I love and care for you. We both could work a little harder to stay in touch, but even when we don't talk for what seems like forever, when we get back in touch it's like we don't miss a beat. I will always look up to you, little sister or not, you're a force to be reckoned with and I am so proud of you. Thank you for putting up with me all those years, sharing a small room isn't always easy but we made it through, and I think we made a lot of fun out of it. I love you and I am so excited to have you a part of our beautiful day!

John

Groomsman

Hello Tayshawn, I know we have not been as close as we have in the past, but believe it or not, I look up to you in many ways. You are my only brother and you have been one of the biggest roll models in my life growing up, and I will never forget that. I still remember the long car rides back from Wheaton, Meme and Bebe's, and swim practice where I would drill you with "what if "questions, and we would talk about anything that was on our minds. I still hold you to that regard where If I need to know something, or need an opinion I can trust, I can always come to you. Our personalities may have drifted through the years, but my love and respect for you never has. Thank you for being my big brother Ava.

Gwenna

Bridesmaid

To my littlest sister, words can not begin to describe the whirlwind ride we've been on. You have grown so much and have become such a responsible young woman and it makes me so proud to see it. You have a strong work ethic and an amazing strive for education. I love the passion you hold to create a career for yourself that will make a difference in the world we live in. Your passion for continued education is one of the reasons I pushed myself to go back to college, you are a great example of drive and ambition. You are strong, yet sensitive and bring so much to any friendship or relationship you have. We haven't always been close due to distance and age, but now that you're back home, we have gotten the chance to get to know each other all over again and I am more than impressed by how much you've grown in all the years I missed. I hope that in the upcoming years I can make up for all the time I missed, we have many sister days to come! I love you and I know you will go on to do great things.

Bradley

Groomsman

Whats up B Rad, I know you're Cc's brother but I already think of you as mine. This wedding just makes it official. You are a blast to hang out with, even when were just at your apartment playing goat simulator lol, Tall Goat. CC is constantly telling me stories about you as a kid and It just makes we wish I have known you for longer, but I'm glad we have the rest of our lives to hangout. You are an amazing person and I cannot thank CC enough for bringing you into my life, if anybody saw you at the SNL after party, we might not be let into another one, but we can make the most of any situation. Welcome to the family Brad, I love you buddy.

Hailey

Bridesmaid

Such a beautiful presence and warm soul, and I couldn’t be more happy to have you in my life and to have you by my side on such a special day. Your wonderful family came into our lives at such a crucial time, during my pregnancy I lost friends and struggled to come to terms with that. I was shown by your presence in my life that sometimes, certain things must come to a close in order for new things to open up. Thank you for being such a supportive and caring friend to me. Who would’ve thought that our, once mailmen, would’ve brought us together.

Zach

Groomsman

Hey Mr. Postman. I remember when I first started working at the post office, everybody was so serious, and I was a chronic rule follower. Then I met you and was actually able to laugh at work, and started not caring what Brendan and Alicia said. CCA bros forever, and I'm glad our daughter will be able to grow up together, but mine will win the fight.

Lauren

Bridesmaid

I have a hard time putting into words how much our friendship means to me. You came into my life when I had so few there to support me. Not only did you make a difference in Josiah’s life, but in mine. I don’t know how in the world he managed to land your fine ass, but thank god he did! I just hope you know how much you are cherished and appreciated. Finding new friends in your 20s isn’t easy, but girl you fell right into my lap, but landed in my heart. (I know it’s cheesy, but I’m allowed, plus I knew you’d love that shit!) All in all, thank you, you’ve been so very kind and thoughtful and welcomed the chaos that is these boys into your life and I couldn’t be more thankful to have such a badass chick by my side to keep them in line.

Tanner

Groomsman

First of all, I must start with a big thank you for taking care of my best friend and providing for her. You have worked your ass off in the Navy and moved up the ranks with grace and everyone is so proud of you! You carted us literally up and down the coast of California and welcomed Josh with open arms and it means a lot that you guys got along so well and we all had such a wonderful time! Josh is proud to have you as a groomsman and is looking forward to learning some Magic tips and tricks from you!

Brittany

Matron of Honor

Girl where do I even start?! From the day you approached me in 7th grade, I had a feeling we’d be friends for a long time. Have we been through our far share of shit? Absolutely. Do we always come back to each other? Every time. The amount of trauma we have helped each other through is incredible and insane. We’re bonded in ways many friends can’t comprehend and I love that for us. No matter if you live down the street, or across the country, you’ll always feel like you’re next to me through everything. We’ve been each other’s rock when everything felt like it was floating around us. You’ve held me down since day one and I will continue to do the same for you. I am proud to have you as my Matron of Honor, and to stand up there with me as I did for you. I love your beautiful soul and your caring personality. The way you treat people, animals, and everything in between shows your true character and I hope no matter how dark the world gets, you’ll always be a beacon of light. I love you Brittany and truly proud to call you my best friend.

Andrei

Groomsman

Hello Mr. President. We became friends our junior year of high school when you came over from Windham Christian. It did not take long for us to become friends. We have always been real with each other, and we have always had a blast together. I still remember sleeping at your house after junior prom, playing fortnite in your basement, and going to bruins games with you. My hair may have ended up being longer than yours, but I have always admired the person that you are. You and your family have shown me so much love, I will never forget it. I need to get down to Boston more often so we can hangout. I would never abandon you in Europe, and I will always come find you if you end up a mile away on a highway in Dover Delaware. You will make the perfect groomsman Andrizzle, the Romanian Rocket, I love you man.

Makayla

Bridesmaid

If someone came up to you in middle school and pointed at me and said “You’re gonna be in her wedding in 15 years.” Would you have believed them?! It’s crazy to think our paths would cross again after so many years, but learning you lived one town over from me was one of the best things that could’ve happened to me! I was so excited to learn someone that I knew lived so close, it felt so good to finally have a close friend… then I moved an hour and a half away. Then YOU moved states away! All jokes aside though, we will always be close, whether we talk regularly or not for weeks, it’s always picked up right where we left off. You’ve been so understanding and kind, you’ve shown me that friends can be there for each other without the feeling of obligation. I’ve always had very high maintenance relationships that don’t last long, but the group of ladies I have standing up with me on our big day have kept it chill and never made me feel guilty if we don’t stay in touch as often as we’d all like to. I appreciate you all for being so kind and caring, showing me what true friends are like. I love you girl and I’m so excited for September to see you since your move and catch up!

Liam

Ring Bearer

Hey Liam, words cannot begin to explain how glad I am to have you in my life. You and your family has supported me though everything, and you have always been there to make us laugh. I can have serious conversations with you about hockey and life, but I can also give you your birthday punches with Logan. Bruins games, golfing, and just normal nights at the Heckman household are never the same without you. Believe it or not you're the life of the party, and you are loved by so many. You will always have a place to stay with me, and you will always have a second brother with me Liam. Don't drop the rings little brother.

Amber

Mother of the Bride

To my Mom, without you to carry me for 9 months, I wouldn't be here today making myself into the individual I have come to be. You showed me many important lessons that gave me the standards I live by today. Growing up, we were much closer than we are now, as distance and events have come between us. Things haven't really been the same since I graduated and I wish everyday that we had the bond we used to. Regardless of that, you always showed me that through any struggle, I can persevere and rise above all. I will always live by the quote on my arm, "Don't let the shadows of yesterday spoil the sun rise of tomorrow." Because of that quote and many others, I have managed to make it through my young adulthood on my own. I want you to know that I have a great relationship with Joshua's family, they have truly shown me so much care and love, and I can't wait for you to meet them and see all the love they have to offer. Love you Mom.

Jessica

Mother of the Groom

Hello Mother! I don't think I can fit everything I want to say in this little blurb, but I need you to know you have been my number one support system throughout my entire life. I am so happy you get to see me get married, and I am so happy you love her almost as much as I do. I have been an annoying teenager, mad at moving houses, mad at new people, mad at anything negative that happened to me, and you've put up with me. Through all of that, you have always been there to calm me down, love me, and help me succeed. You raised me to be the person that I am today, any positive trait that I have, I give you credit for. You are always looking for ways to help me and make my life easier, and I have never been more grateful, and I have never had a better role model in my life than you Mom. I love you, thank you so much for everything you have done for me, and everything you will continue to do for Cecilia and I. We are happy to have you as our neighbor, and I can't explain how amazing of a Mother you have been. Enjoy our wedding!

Justin

Father of the Bride

To my Dad, you have been the rock and stability in my life and you have given me so many important skills that help carry me through my day to day. I will always take pride in giving you the credit for my strong work ethic, compassion for others and most of all, my humor. We have spent many nights sitting around the kitchen table yakking and laughing for hours and chowing down your amazing food! You and I have been through some hardships, yet, we have overcome them without missing a beat. Life hasn't always been easy on us, but we know that if we work hard and stay persistent, we will persevere. Every time I cook in any kitchen, no matter where I am, I always think of you and Pepea. Everything I know about cooking comes from you both and I feel like I keep him alive every time I use his recipes or just cook in general. I will never be able to fully show you how much I appreciate you due to there just not being enough words or ways to show you. I will do it in the best way I know how, with hugs and family dinners. Thank you for the love, light and laughter you bring to my life. I love you Pops!

John

Father of the Groom

Hi Dad! I love you, and I know you love me. Though thick and thin, I have always known that you were trying to support me, teach me, and care for me. I still remember sitting on the back of your chair watching you play Warcraft before I had to go to school. I remember touching the horseshoe crabs at great bay discovery center, and all of our fishing trips, and every time I drive past that driving range in NH, I think of you. I am glad you will be able to see me get married, and i'm glad you you will be there for the rest of my milestones. Thank you for everything you have done for me, and continue to do for me. I'm glad you're only 15 mins down the road so you'll be able to spend time with your granddaughter!

Aaron

Step-Father to the Bride

Where do I even start?! Not all step parents will go out of their way to do what you have for me throughout the years. In times where I had so little and needed help or a shoulder to cry on, you were there. You’ve never expected anything in return for all the help you’ve offered and continue to refuse any kind of repayment. You’ve always said “I do it because I want to, not to get something in return.” That in itself shows your true nature and how much you selflessly care for those you care about. In some people’s stories we may be the villains, or one to pass the blame to, but if that’s the case, I’d say we’ve had the biggest redemption arcs in history! From teaching me how to drive a standard, survival skills, and water damage restoration… you’ve taught me so many valuable things that I take with me everywhere and I am extremely grateful to have you in my life. You’ve always been there for me through thick and thin and I will never forget that. One day I will repay you in some fashion or another for everything you’ve done for me, and you’ll have no choice but to accept! I love you Aaron, and thank you so much for everything.

Justin

Step Father to the Groom

Hi Justin! It took us a while to become close, but I want you to know it is because of how shy I am. I have the utmost respect for you, and I look up to you, and aspire to be as caring and as responsible as you. You are one of the smartest, and funniest people I know. You took my family in, even when we were just in the small prairie way house, you provided for us, and loved all of us. After all the disputes we may have had, I will always be grateful for your honesty, and integrity. You are a textbook example as how to be a good man, and I will always be thankful for you taking care of, and loving my mother. You are a father figure to me, and thank you for everything you have done for me. I will never forget it.

Josiah

Officiant

JJ's *****, I started working at St Joes when we were 16, It maybe took us 2 weeks to a month to become instant friends. We didn't get to go to school together, but that did not stop us from raising hell together. We've been to Quincy together, we worked together, we have lived together through 3 different apartments, your mom has smacked me in the head.... we have been through a lot together. You have always been the person to stay up until 4am with me chilling, talking, playing games, and helping each other better our lives. I want you to know that I always have your back, and I know you have mine. We can call each other out if one of us is being an idiot or making a stupid decision, and we can come to each other with the most random things... Faht Zone. You will always be in my life as one of my very best friends. There is nobody I would rather have or trust more to officiate the process of me taking the next step in my life. You better have a killer speech for the ceremony 21sleeper.
