Wedding Day Details:
Location: Ceremony and reception will both be at Wavering Place- 427 Adams Hayne Rd, Eastover, SC 29044 Venue: Plan for an outdoor celebration! Keep this in mind when planning outfits and making shoe choices! Weather: Fingers crossed for sunshiney outdoor ceremony, but we will have a back-up plan just in case! Dinner & Drinks: Buffet-style dinner so you can graze, mingle, and dance without missing a thing. Unplugged Ceremony: We kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away during the ceremony, until cocktail hour, so everyone can be fully present. What To Wear: Guest Attire
Our wedding will be semi-formal — think cocktail/midi/maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or suits (ties optional). Please, no jeans or shorts. Our theme is garden party chic — colorful, floral, and a little whimsical. While the theme isn’t mandatory, we highly encourage, and would love, everyone to lean into the theme. We’re putting a lot of heart into creating a joyful, vibrant atmosphere, and your outfits will help bring it all to life. Things To Do In The Area:
We’ll be the first to admit we’re seriously uncool and don’t get out much. That said, we put together some recommendations — lower your expectations accordingly. 😉 We'll continue adding to this page as we get closer to the big day (probably). So, keep an eye out for more very tame suggestions.
