What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We're still finalizing the details for ceremony timing and location. We recently learned that Old Orchard Beach doesn't permit ceremonies on the sand during July and August, but we're actively exploring alternative beach venues that will include transportation for all our guests. We'll share these details with you as soon as they're confirmed!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we do! We've arranged a special discounted rate at the SeaShell Cottages for our guests. Please visit the travel page on our website for all the details and booking information.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and suits with ties optional for men. That said, wear what makes you feel comfortable—what matters most to us is celebrating with you, not what you're wearing.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. This is such a special and intimate moment for us, and we'd love to be fully present with our loved ones. We've hired professional photographers to capture every detail, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration alongside us!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We're delighted to offer two complimentary drink tickets per person. For additional beverages, a cash bar will be available throughout the evening for your convenience.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Answer

We appreciate you asking! Due to Maine's alcohol regulations, outside beverages cannot be brought into our venue, and we're unable to make exceptions to this policy. However, we'll have a cash bar available for our guests.

Are kids welcome?

Yes, children are absolutely welcome at our celebration! We do ask that they be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the event.

Smoking and Vaping

Answer

There is to be no smoking or vaping on the property. If needed, please step at least 10 feet beyond the property line to the sidewalk across the street.
