Unfortunately, there are no direct flights into Shreveport, and most will have connections at DFW. Dallas is only 3 hours away from Shreveport, so renting a car and driving can be a cheaper option. Some flights may have layovers in Houston, which is 4 hours away by car.

This 3 star hotel is a little farther away, but the area is nicer and the price is a little lower. It is still only a little over 10 minutes away from the Cathedral, but there is a lot of construction on the highway.
