Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
The Ceremony will be at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, starting at 10 am. 939 Jordan St. Shreveport, LA 71101 The Reception will be at The Petroleum Club starting at 12pm. 416 Travis Street #1500 Shreveport, LA 71101

Check the "travel" page on the website for all travel recommendations, including hotels and airbnbs!

Where do we park for the ceremony?
Answer
There is street parking in front of the Cathedral on Jordan Street. There are also parking lots across Jordan street from the Cathedral (to the north), behind the Cathedral, behind the Elementary/Middle School (to the west of the Cathedral), and in front of the Parish Office and the High School (to the east of the Cathedral). There is a map of the Ceremony Location in the Gallery.

Where do we park for the reception?
Answer
All street parking is free on the weekends. There is a front and back entrance to the building, and there will be signs directing you to the 16th floor for the reception. There is a parking lot behind the building, but it is not free. See the gallery for a map.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Since it will be late May in swampy LA, we shall be avoiding heat and humidity in air conditioned buildings for all wedding activities. Some of the buildings will be a little chilly, though, so we recommend bringing a sweater!

How do I RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP on the website under the "RSVP" tab. All you have to do is type in your name and select your party! If you're having troubles or can't find your party, send us an email at asherandcecilia.ralphs@gmail.com.

Please RSVP by April 26th, so we have time to get enough food!

Can I bring my kids?

Of course! Everyone listed on your invitation is welcome to all wedding activities- even your little ones!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, we are at capacity with our venue which means we cannot accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Question
How navigable is the area if I don't have a car?
Answer
Sadly, Shreveport's public transportation system is pretty non-existent, but you can Uber and Lyft. We are happy to help coordinate ride-shares and carpooling as we get closer to the day. Just send an email (asherandcecilia.ralphs@gmail.com) with the day and time of your arrival and where you are staying. The Romanski's are ready to do pick ups from the Shreveport Airport!
