Once upon a time in the land of sunshine, palm trees, and questionable parking (Long Beach, CA), two Houston girls who grew up two miles apart somehow managed to not meet for over 30 years. But, as fate would have it, the Universe clearly knew we needed a few glow-ups (& therapy sessions) before we were ready for each other. And thank goodness...because by the time we crossed paths in 2020, we were two fully-formed snacks with matching vibes, shared values, and a playlist that heavily featured Beyoncé. We officially became an item on October 18, 2020 — a date we both remember because, well, lesbians. That love moved fast but was rooted deep: from beach walks and late-night goal-setting talks to dance parties in the kitchen and planning our next getaway. Travel became our love language. And one trip to Hawaii sealed the deal when Kim popped the question on May 20, 2022. (Spoiler: she said yes. I mean, I did. You get it.) Then life did that thing it does — got busy. Kim, being the baddie in uniform that she is, had to adjust to a new job in the Army. We had to pack up, move again, and figure out how to be a military couple without losing our rhythm. So we made it official at the Orange County Courthouse on September 18, 2023 — just us, a few loved ones, and a whole lot of joy. Now, we’re finally celebrating the way we always dreamed — with sunshine, tequila, and the people we love in Puerto Vallarta, baby! Because when two H-Town girls find their forever person in Cali, you know the wedding had to be a whole destination experience. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with y’all!
