FAQs

Question

When should we plan to arrive and leave?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to join us between April 30 – May 3, 2026 so we can all enjoy the full wedding weekend together! Our wedding will take place on Saturday, May 2, but we recommend arriving by Thursday, mid-day, to settle in, relax, and join us for the welcome events.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

All wedding events will be held at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block and discount website to book your stay at the Grand Hyatt, Baha Mar. Note it defaults to arriving Thursday and leaving Sunday, but you can extend your trip on either end at the same discounted room rate.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for all hotel recommendations.

Question

Can guests stay somewhere other than the resort?

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to stay off-property if they prefer. Those staying outside of the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar can still enjoy many of the public areas such as the casino, shops, and resort restaurants and bars. Please note that the resort’s pools and beach areas are reserved for hotel guests only. If you’d like to spend the day by the water, Baha Bay Water Park offers day passes (approximately $160 USD for adults and $65 USD for children), available directly through the resort.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be tropical cocktail attire. Think light, airy, and festive; dresses, jumpsuits, or linen for women; dress shirts, slacks, or light suits for men. We recommend avoiding heels that sink into sand and embracing soft tropical colors that reflect the island vibe.

Question

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Most of the weekend will take place outdoors, surrounded by ocean views and Caribbean sunsets. We suggest lightweight fabrics, comfortable shoes, and a little hairspray for those breezy island nights!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend will be adults-only so everyone can relax and celebrate. If you’re bringing family to the Bahamas, Baha Mar offers great childcare and family activities you can enjoy before or after the wedding weekend.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! All guests traveling from outside the Bahamas must have a valid passport to enter the country. Make sure yours is up to date, it should be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Baha Mar. Taxis, ride-share services, and airport shuttles are readily available upon arrival.

Question

Is transportation provided for events?

Answer

Most of our events will be within the resort, so no transportation is needed. If we host an off-property event, we’ll provide details and any transportation arrangements in advance.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by January 3, 2026 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
