Both airports work, but we recommend flying into San Diego. Let us know as soon as you have your flights to we can help you coordinate transportation if needed.
The short answer is no. Most car rental places won't let you do that... and the few that do let you, will charge you a lot of extra fees and require a bunch of extra paperwork. Not to mention that you will hit a lot of traffic driving back from Mexico into the US. We really don't recommend it. There are no car rental companies that allow one-way travel from the US to Mexico, so keep that in mind.
This is an 18+ wedding, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
Due to the limited space of the venue, we unfortunately have to be selective about the number of +1's we can invite to our wedding. If you still would like to bring a date with you on your trip to Mexico, we can offer some ideas of nice restaurants and activities for your partner to check out while you are attending the wedding. We appreciate your understanding, and we apologize if it causes any inconvenience!
Earthy & Elegant: When picking your outfit, we invite you to find something earthy, bohemian, or with colors inspired by nature. Have fun with floral patterns and fun accessories! Semi Formal: Whatever you wear, make sure it’s floor length or just above the ankles. Ties are not required but a nice idea! Not White: Please avoid wearing white suits or dresses or colors that are too close to white (white button down shirts are okay when paired with other colors).
Please bring comfy outdoor-friendly shoes. The venue is located in a desert environment, surrounded by vineyards and ground consists of mostly dirt roads and gravel pathways. Cowboy boots might be a good option to consider...
Yes! Bring a jacket, shawl, fur coat, or any warm layer of your choice in case it gets chilly at night!
Not really. There are many places where the Uber and other ride-share apps operate within Mexico, however they do NOT operate inside Valle de Guadalupe or out of the Tijuana Airport. There used to be something called "valleX" but unfortunately that is no longer available. If you insist trying it out anyway, try using these addresses for better results: Instead of San Ysidro Pedestrian Entrance to Mexico, use: "Garita a Pie Tijuana"; Instead of Torre Lucerna Hotel, use: "La Flor de La Calabaza Ensenada"; Cuatro Cuatros and Tahona won't be available as drop off or pick up locations.
