Kick off the weekend with us at the Wetzel Family Lake House in Casco, ME! We're getting things going with a fun & relaxing night featuring a pizza food truck, ice-cold drinks, and a few Maine specialties :) Not to mention the beautiful panoramic view of Pleasant Lake! As the sun sets, we'll have a bonfire going for s'mores, good music, and yard games. Maine's slogan is "The Way Life Should Be" and that's exactly the vibes we'll be bringing as we officially commence our celebrations. Attire: No need to dress super fancy! Typical rehearsal dinner/welcome party attire is fine. We will be outdoors on grass, so just an FYI when considering choice of shoes. Please also bring a jacket or cardigan in case it gets chilly after the sun goes down. The lake house is about a 40 minute drive from Portland. Please indicate in your RSVP if you will be driving or plan to carpool with another guest. Round-trip shuttle transportation from the hotel may be available pending RSVP response.

Please arrive NO LATER than 4:15pm. Boarding begins at 4:30pm, and the boat departs promptly at 5:00pm. Don't miss the boat (or our wedding)! We suggest arriving early to grab a drink and mingle at The Porthole Restaurant & Pub while you wait to board. To get to the venue, we recommend walking or taking an Uber/Lyft. Parking and traffic in Old Port can be tricky, so plan extra time if you're driving! The boat will set sail for a lighthouse-side ceremony, followed by a 3-hour cruise on the bay! In lieu of a formal sit-down dinner, we’ll be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres (lobster rolls, sliders, skewers), food stations, and desserts. Grab some drinks from the open bar, explore the decks, and prepare to dance the night away! Our DJ will keep the party going on every level of the boat. * Please remember to bring your ID. It's a Coast Guard rule! *

After the boat docks, we will be having an after party from 9-11pm with burger sliders, chicken tenders, and fries! For catering purposes, please RSVP "Will Attend" even if you're not 100% positive you'll be able to stay for this portion of the night. If you aren't able to make our wedding or know you will need to leave once the boat docks, please choose "Will not attend".

We'll be grabbing some food and hanging out at Salt Yard the morning after the wedding if you'd like to swing by for a goodbye hug before you begin your travels! This is super casual, we don't have anything reserved and it would be a "stop by when you can" kind of thing! No need to RSVP, this is just an option for those still around :) The Salt Yard Cafe is on the first floor of the Canopy Hotel - just a 2 block walk from the Aloft Hotel. They have awesome pastries, breakfast items, juices, and coffee selections if you're looking for a place to get breakfast on your way out of town!
