Where is Ushers Ferry Historical Village?

Answer

From I-380 Ushers Ferry is easily accessible from I-380 by taking the 42nd Street exit (24a) west, past Edgewood Road to Seminole Valley Road. Follow the signs from there. From Highway 100 It is accessible from Highway 100 by taking the Edgewood Road exit. Take Edgewood Road south to 42nd Street. Turn right on 42nd Street and follow the signs from there. Map link available on Schedule page. Ushers Ferry Historic Village is located on a ten acre site in beautiful Seminole Valley. It features nine ADA accessible, historic buildings available to tour that depict life in a small Iowa town between the years of 1890 and 1910.

Where do I park?

Answer

There is a parking lot in front of the lodge and also a drive through area if you need to drop a guest off at the entrance. Additional parking is available on adjacent grass.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be at the outdoor gazebo in the center of the village and the reception will be at The Lodge. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be at The Lodge.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love kids! However, due to venue constraints, with the exception of close family and children involved in the wedding, this will be an adults only event.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at our venue guest capacity at the moment and cannot add plus ones at this time.
