Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Ceremony and reception will both take place at Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the reception hall .”

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “Will not attend,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There will be parking available at the venue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate the number of guest listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

There will be a block of rooms at Eastland Suites to accommodate guests. However, there is a Quality Inn & Suits (1803 E. Empire St, Bloomington, IL 61704) about a block from the venue and a Holiday Inn & Suites (3203 E. Empire St. Bloomington, IL 61704) across from the airport. Please book Eastland Suite rooms by April 24th, 2022

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please RSVP by May, 1st 2022. RSVPs can be done through our website.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have a southern style buffet available at the reception. Fresh Mixed Greens with Assorted Dressings & Toppings Homemade Potato Salad Pit-Smoked Beef Brisket with Barbeque Sauce Southern Battered Fried Chicken Baked Bean Medley with Currants & Apples Slow Simmered Green Beans with Crumbled Bacon & Onion Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls & Butter

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Duh! A cash bar will be available at the reception. There will be a few drinks (beer & wine) for free while the supply lasts. Cash will be the only form of payment accepted. There is an ATM available on site.
