Of course! We just ask that, if your wedding invitation does not address your partner or the RSVP section of this website doesn't show a guest option, please reach out to Caz and Kass so we can add them to your RSVP. The more, the merrier!
Yes, actually! Aside from bringing your beautiful selves, we would greatly appreciate if everyone can bring a lawn chair for the outdoor ceremony. And if you're capable of arriving early and bringing extra chairs for others to borrow, that would be awesome! You may also stand or bring a lawn blanket to sit on during the ceremony, if that would be more comfortable. Sorry, we were too cheap to hire a chair rental and setup company. After the ceremony, you can pop the chairs back in your car and join us inside for the reception, where the seating IS provided.
Whatever you want! Even the bride and groom won't be wearing traditional attire -- we have fantasy outfits planned! Imagine a Renaissance fair or your favorite fairy tail. You are welcome to dress up or down as you wish; we just want you to be comfortable first and foremost. The building has no heating or cooling aside from a fireplace, and some parts of the event may take place outside (weather permitting). It may be chilly!
Weddings are expensive, but we want to make the most out of what we can afford with a tight budget by cooking and serving the food ourselves, so there will be veggies, fruits, crockpots, and sweet treats, but not your standard wedding entrees. We will have non-alcoholic beverages along with wine and beer, but the venue does not allow hard liquor. The provided food and drinks will all be plant-based (no animal products like meat, milk, eggs, etc.), and we ask our guests respect this decision if bringing any foods or drinks as gifts. There is no need to bring supplementary food to the celebration unless we have reached out and something planned with you. We will do our best to make sure there is something everyone can enjoy, so please specify any additional dietary restrictions when filling out the RSVP or reach out to Cazi/Kassidy directly. If this doesn't sound appetizing, or you are nervous about the food options that will be there, we will take no offense if you would prefer to eat before or after our time together!
There is a parking lot right outside the enclosed shelter building! The lot is rather small, so we recommend carpooling if possible (plus it's better for the environment!) There is also only one handicap accessible spot at the front, so please only use it as needed.
