Question
What about COVID?
Answer
As of now, should you have any symptoms or exposure to someone who tests positive for COVID in the days leading up to our wedding, please take a test before joining in the festivities. We want to do our best to be as safe as possible so that everyone can relax, enjoy, and feel comfortable! Should anything arise that warrants a change in plans for the wedding weekend, we will notify you immediately and provide necessary information. Also, please note that Basin Harbor allows cancellation with full refund at any point up to 14 days before the beginning of your stay.

What does formal attire mean?
Answer
We are hoping folks will get a bit fancy! This does NOT mean black tie, so no need for tuxes or formal gowns. But, if you’ve got a nice suit, wear it! If not, a nice jacket and tie works perfectly. And, fancier cocktail dresses and longer dresses are welcomed and encouraged. We can’t wait to get dressed up and celebrate together!

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Basin Harbor is an excellent place to enjoy with your family, and we want our guests to know that they are welcome to bring kids! However, our Wedding Events (the Ceremony, Reception, and After-Party) are adults only. (Don't worry, we have you covered!! See the next FAQ below)

Is there childcare provided?
Answer
YES! While our wedding events (Ceremony, Reception and After Party) are adults only, we are providing babysitters through Basin Harbor so that you can enjoy the party and know that your children are in good hands! Please get in touch with us for details. For any other time throughout your stay, you can arrange for babysitters yourself through the Concierge at Ext. 836 or Ext. 1 (or concierge@basinharbor.com). Some important things to remember about babysitting at Basin Harbor: 1. Babysitters are not resort staff members. Payment for sitters will be between the guest and sitter only, by cash or check. Basin Harbor recommend $12-$15+ per hour. 2. If the sitter is working through meal times, the guest is expected to provide the sitter with a meal. Alternatively, your children are welcome to join the resort's day camp. In order to attend, Basin Harbor requires that they be out of diapers and able to use the toilet.
