Marley is Cay's childhood best friend and ride or die; there is simply no Cay without her Marley. They met in childhood on the soccer team, and have been partners in crime throughout every phase of life ever since. From being roommates in college in NYC, drunken nights at Marley's dads's rock shows, the Eras Tour, not one - but two Harry Styles concerts, and many, many, late night trips to taco bell, Marley and Cay's sisterhood has superseded whatever distance or time that comes between them. After just spending one minute with them in the same room, it is apparent that they share one sense of humor, one soul, and, at times, one brain cell. In every lifetime and every parallel universe, Marley and Cay are best friends and sisters. They love and protect each other fiercely in a way that has taught Cay what true, unconditional love is.

Fun fact about Cay: she always wanted a sister. It took approximately 4 seconds of knowing each other for Bianca and Cay to call each other "sister-in-law," and now their dreams are coming true! Christian's sister Bianca has been a best friend to Cay since before they even met. As soon as Bianca found out that her brother had a girlfriend, she gave her a follow on instagram and the rest truly is history. Bianca's friendship is irreplaceable to Cay as she always brings the good vibes (usually in the form of shots), and never shames Cay for her dancing abilities when she takes her out in Miami. Bianca easily fills the role of the sister Cay never had.

Maya and Cay met during both of their first years teaching and, as you can imagine, trauma bonded. Unbeknownst to them, they had 'friend crushes' on each other and were dying to become close, but... anxiety. Thankfully, Christian knew about Cay's friend crush on Maya and invited her to her 25th birthday party as a surprise. Ever since, Maya and Cay have become inseparable. They don't teach at the same school anymore, but have maintained an extremely close sisterhood over a shared sense of humor that truly only they can understand.

The Christian that was there before her fiance. Christian is Cay's best friend from college and has truly, honestly, not exaggerating, seen Cay through some challenging times. In fact, he was the only one she told when she was loading up her broken 2003 Acura to make a trek to Maryland from Upstate New York to hang out with 'some boy' for the first time. To which Christian thoughtfully replied, "....Cay?" We are obviously all thankful he didn't successfully talk her out of it, or else we wouldn't be where we are today; as this mysterious 'boy' ends up being her husband years later. Endearingly dubbed "Spongebob and Patrick" by their college friends, Christian and Cay do it all: from co-teaching a 4th grade class together to running rampant through the streets of Cortland, New York.

Kate and Cay met through their fiancés, Reese and Christian, who were college teammates and roommates. Over time, Kate and Cay became close friends, spending countless nights at each other's apartments, mixing up cocktails, wedding planning, and organizing playdates for their dogs, Malcolm and Hank. Now, just like their moms, the pups are best friends too.

Rachel is Cay's trusted confidant, dear friend, and unpaid therapist (when needed). They met through mutual friends, Mackenzie and Michael, and immediately hit it off in a way that can only be described as magnetic. Rachel is one of the most selfless and caring people Cay has ever known, always going above and beyond to support those she loves. This generosity shines through in her tireless dedication to her friends and the causes she cares about (like saving the turtles), making her an irreplaceable part of Cay's life.
Mackenzie Kirschbaum

Cay met Mackenzie through Michael, Christian’s best man and Mackenzie’s husband. The two instantly clicked over their shared love (obsession) for their dogs, who also became best friends. Over the years, Cay and Mackenzie have grown even closer, building a lifelong friendship. And despite being on opposite sides of the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate, they’ve happily put those differences aside.
Michael Kirschbaum
Best Man
Michael is Christian's closest companion. He is Christian's most trustworthy friend and a source of endless advice. They met as teammates at UMBC and have remained close fishing and drinking partners ever since. Christian recently convinced Michael to start golfing, so please offer your condolences to his wife, Mackenzie. Michael's dog, Duncan, was Malcolm's first friend as a puppy.
Reese Varley
Groomsman
Reese played baseball with and lived with Christian in college. They bonded in the athletic training room because they were always needing more ibuprofen. Now they tend to their aching bodies with milder hobbies like drinking beers on the golf course, soaking in the sun at the pool, and throwing parties always catered by Domino's. Both of their dogs, Hank and Malcolm, are also best friends.
Fahad Sayed

Christian met Fahad through his best man, Michael. They instantly connected through their shared duties of accompanying their better halves to all the nearest farmers markets. Christian, Cay, Fahad, and his wife, Rachel, enjoy scouring the town in search of the best espresso martini. When it's Fahad and Christian's turn to make the plans, they enjoy visiting breweries and trying out the newest hot pot or korean bbq restaurants.
Ryan Brown
Groomsman
Ryan was Cay's first friend in Baltimore. He was one of Christian's roommates at the time and he helped Cay feel at home when she was visiting a city she had never been to before. Christian and Ryan became friends while playing together in a summer baseball league. Christian helped recruit Ryan to UMBC to play baseball together. They spent many a night rambling about their interests in cars, Jeapordy! and music.
Corey Young

Corey may be the younger brother, but his wisdom and maturity often make him seem much older. Known for his sharp mind and thoughtful advice, he’s someone Cay turns to for guidance and support. Their close bond makes Corey not just a brother, but one of her closest friends. Over time, Corey and Christian have developed a brotherhood of their own, bonding over shared senses of humor and a love for cold beer.

As Cay’s older brother, Conor has always been her protector and confidant. From their childhood days of shared adventures to the milestones they've hit along the way, Conor has been a steady source of support and laughter. Known for his quick wit and caring nature, he's the kind of brother who makes sure everyone is taken care of, while never hesitating to crack a joke or bring a smile to the room. Over time, Conor and Christian have become great friends.

Luis is Christian's longest friend. They met in the fourth grade and instantly became close friends when they realized they lived on the same street. They spent countless summer days playing pick-up basketball, video games, and trying to become YouTube famous. Despite living on opposite sides of the country, they have still maintained their strong relationship through all their shared interests.

Though Colin always had a reputation to rigorously interrogate any man that dare enter his daughter's life - he immediately recognized Christian's deep love for Cay as a reflection of his own love for her; quickly allowing him to put his guard down and welcome him as a third son.

She’s the life of any gathering, always ready with a clever comeback and an infectious smile. Her bond with Cay is one of sisterly love, loyalty, and endless fun, making her an irreplaceable part of this special day.

Marleigh is Cay's cousin, and is the sweetest ray of sunshine as the flower girl. With a heart full of joy and a sparkle in her eyes, she plans to walk down the aisle scattering petals like they’re bits of magic. Her laughter is infectious, and her playful spirit adds an extra layer of charm to the celebration. Though small in stature, Marleigh has a big personality, and her enthusiasm fills the room with warmth and happiness. She’s the perfect little addition to this beautiful day, bringing excitement, love, and enthusiasm to every moment.
Malcolm Torres
Honor Attendant
Malcolm is Cay and Christian's son. He is the piece of the puzzle they never knew they were missing until a fateful day in January 2022 when Cay tricked Christian into taking a 2-hour long roadtrip to get a 1-month old puppy from a shelter. There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said thousands of times about our sweet, perfect boy. As a huge fan of dressing up and looking fly, Malcolm is so excited that his parents are getting married (he told us).
