A great place to rent boats if you wanted to take your own adventure on the lake! Just note that you will need a boat license if you were to want to do this!
Rattlesnake Mountain
Just 5 miles North of Holderness off Route 113 is one of our favorite, easy, quick hikes that offers great views of the Lake!
Walter's Basin
Our favorite restaurant right down the road from the venue. Offers great food, views of the lake, and even dockside dining.
Squam Lake Market Place
walking distance from the venue, this adorable little market offers breakfast and lunch, local goods and gifts. We love their BLT!
The Common Man Ashland
The Original Common Man! A great place to get any meal, or just a drink. Their upstairs offers comfortable seating, games and great food. It is a favorite of the bride and groom!
Dew Drop Food Truck
Fun, easy spot for a quick bite outside! A Local favorite
Ice House Creamery
Ice cream on the Lake! If they have "the rattlesnake" you NEED to try it. Live music on Friday nights!
Squam Lakes Natural Science Center
An environmental education center and zoo, that also offers great trails and beautiful gardens. Our favorite exhibits are the mountain Lions and the Bald Eagle! This is also where we will be taking off on the boats to head to Church island for our ceremony.

Great restaurant only 15 minutes away
