What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal cocktail attire with a touch of garden party! Ladies, think midi, tea-length or maxi dresses-- but don't be afraid to play with color and pattern! Men, a comfortable suit, or shirt and tie are great options. For the welcome party, a more casual cocktail attire: short or midi dresses, or a nice set; Men can be in pants and a button down or golf shirt.

We are flying in, what airports should we be looking for?

Answer

Both Logan (MA) Airport and Manchester Airport (NH) offer diverse flights and are within 1- 1.5 hours to the venue. We thank you deeply for going out of your way to celebrate with us.

Will there be shuttle options?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held on an island on Squam Lake. All our guests will be shuttled from the Van Horn Estate to the docks, then will be shuttled by boat to the island, and the same for the return, taking you right to the Van Horn for cocktail hour and a reception! Luckily, everything else is right on site, and the Squam lake inn is just steps to the driveway of the estate.

Answer

Plymouth, NH and Meredith, NH are both within 15 minutes, and offer hotel and air bnb options. On our "travel" tab we have listed some of the close-by options!
