Travel & Stay

The Wedding Website of Caya - and Pao Salmón -
Our wedding celebration is set in beautiful Playa Herradura, located along Costa Rica's stunning Pacific Coast in Puntarenas. We picked Herradura because it's the perfect balance—close enough to San José for an easy day trip, yet ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway at the beach, especially for those joining us from abroad!

Hotel

Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort

The Reception will be at the beautiful Los Sueños Marriott. The resort is nestled right in the heart of the vibrant Los Sueños Marina area, and includes valet parking, access to the tennis courts, golf course, kayaks, and a bunch of other amenities. Staying here means you'll be close to all the celebrations—and conveniently close to your bed after dancing the night away! There are also plenty of alternative accommodations and Airbnbs nearby. If you’d like to stay at Los Sueños, we've secured an exclusive Group Rate of $315 per room (double occupancy). Make sure you use the link below.

House Or Rental

An Airbnb Shortlist

We've created a handy shortlist of Airbnb stays near the hotel, with something for every style and budget—from cozy apartments to spacious beachfront condos. All of these options are just a quick ride away; even the farthest property is less than a $4 Uber trip from the hotel. If you need any tips or have questions, we're always here to help!

Flight

Flying to Costa Rica

Most flights to Costa Rica land at our main hub, Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), in the capital. Alternatively, you can fly into Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIB) in Guanacaste. This airport is a great choice if you're planning an extended adventure exploring Guanacaste's gorgeous beaches or the natural wonders of La Fortuna.

Travel Note

Driving to Herradura

If you're flying into San José (SJO) or driving from the capital, Herradura is an easy, scenic 1.5-hour drive away. An Uber ride from San José usually costs around $120–$140 one-way. Pro tip: Avoid traveling on Friday afternoons to skip the rush-hour traffic—trust us, it'll save you some frustration! If you're arriving at Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIB) in Guanacaste, you'll have a beautiful, slightly longer drive ahead of you—about 3.5 hours—to reach Herradura.
