FAQs

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is the closest major airport.

Question

Are there hotel blocks or recommendations for where to stay?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block for the Hyatt Regency Greenville, conveniently located downtown Greenville on Main Street. Link will be shared once it is available!

Question

Is transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes. Transportation is booked to pick guests up at the Hyatt Regency Greenville at 2:45pm on 9/26. We will have two shuttle buses escorting guests to the ceremony space at Camp Greenville. The shuttles will then drop guests off at the Loft at Sobys for the reception.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony space is outside, but covered, at the most beautiful chapel overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Reception will be held indoors, with a rooftop available as well.

Question

Will there be scheduled things to do each day, or do we have some free time to explore Greenville?

Answer

Most of the day Friday as well as Saturday morning/early afternoon hours do not have a ton of things planned, outside what is outlined on the schedule. Please feel free to use the free time to explore the city, hike the trails, or hit the shops! If there is something specific that you would like to do as a group, just let the Bride and Groom know!

Question

What’s the weather like in Greenville in late September?

Answer

The weather is typically warm and pleasant, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and cooler evenings in the 60s. We recommend light, breathable clothing and a light layer for later in the evening—especially for the ceremony at Pretty Place Chapel!
