How do I reserve a Room?

Answer

Please call the Tradewinds hotel (+1-800-249-1667) and request the Orlandini/Cavataio Wedding Block. When dialing the number, you'll want to press "1" for group reservations. Please make sure to ask for the "Orlandini" block. Group reservation phone line closes at 5pm EST so please call before then to reserve.

Which hotel should you book?

Answer

We recommend staying at Island Grand, as it’s where the majority of our wedding events will take place and it’s truly the heart of the action at TradeWinds. With the main pools, Tiki Bar, and most of the resort amenities all in one spot, it’s the easiest and most fun place to stay for the weekend. That said, RumFish is just a quick 5-minute walk down the beach and is where our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held. It offers a more laid-back vibe with slightly newer rooms, making it a great option if you’re looking for something quieter and don’t mind the short beachside walk. No matter where you stay, you’ll have full access to both resorts—and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

When does the hotel room block close?

Answer

February 16th or until the hotel reaches 85% occupancy. Please try to reserve your room as soon as possible.

Do we recommend our guests staying additional nights?

Answer

Absolutely! We hope that everyone can enjoy getting a break from the winter season and encourage everyone to spend Thursday or Sunday at the hotel if it is possible. Samantha and Michael will be at the hotel ready for all activities and look forward to seeing you all.

Should you rent a car?

Answer

We wouldn't recommend a car rental unless you are planning to explore the area a bit more. The hotel is only 30-40 minutes to the airport and all of the events will be hosted on the Tradewinds Property.
