Idaho Springs has some great breweries, restaurants, and a lot of nearby hiking trails.
Golden
Clear Creek runs right through downtown Golden with some beautiful walking and biking trails that are perfect for the urban wanderer or the nature lover. Check out the new Eddy hotel and Bar, The Ascent hotel bar that overlooks the water, the Golden Mill, or Barrels and Bottles for wine slushies.
Olde Town Arvada
Olde Town has lots of restaurants and shops to explore. We love SchoolHouse classic bar eats or Homegrown Tap & Dough for pizza!
The Golden Mill
A great spot to enjoy a great outdoor patio, lots of local beer options, and some tasty local food vendors... plus they have ice cream!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
A great spot for a last minute concert, morning yoga or hike, or just to explore nearby trails.
LoDo
Union Station is a great spot to start a downtown walking tour or catching a train to the airport! We love hanging out at the Terminal Bar inside. Newly built McGregor square is just down the street near Coors Field and is host to many great bars, restaurants, or outdoor movies! You could also try to catch a a baseball game.
Denver Art Museum
Into art and architecture like us? The DAM has both! Check out current exhibitions and the contrasting architecture of the museum all in one visit. The Contemporary Art Museum on 15th st. is another great spot.
