Sarah and Giovanni technically met in third grade, when Giovanni started going to Zuni Hills Elementary School in Peoria, Arizona. They went to school together up until 8th grade graduation in 2011. Through this span of time, it’s estimated maybe only 10 words had been uttered between the two of them.

Fast forward to April 8, 2017 when Giovanni found Sarah on Instagram and sent her a message. They talked for a few days, and when he asked to meet up to catch up, she agreed. Dinner led to the movies, the night came to an end, and they couldn’t stop talking to each other. Even though they hardly spoke in elementary school, it had felt like they were lifelong friends reconnecting. Eventually, on May 25, 2017, Giovanni asked Sarah (in a slightly confusing way) to start dating. After that, they created a relationship filled with friendship, trust, humor, adventure, and a couple of really cute fur-babies. Come November 30, 2020, three and a half years into dating, Sarah and Giovanni went to Sedona, Arizona with their two close friends, Hannah and Sarah. While at Tlaquepaque, in one of Sarah’s favorite hideaways at the arts village, G got down on one knee and proposed to Sarah with a ring she had been gushing over previously. Of course, she said yes.

On May 15, 2021 - just 10 days before their 4 year anniversary and several months into wedding planning, the couple learned they needed to add another guest to their list. Sarah was 5 weeks pregnant with their little boy, Atticus. The months that followed weren’t easy on Sarah, but the couple eagerly awaited their little man’s arrival. On December 7, 2021, Atticus joined the pack. Atticus since has gotten to join in on some wedding planning- like attending the florist appointment and being present in the couples engagement photos (though they werent quite aware of the addition, yet).

In their free time, Sarah can be found snuggled up with their babies (fur babies & human baby alike) or hitting up Target and Ross for some adult interaction, while Giovanni is playing video games or scrolling TikTok. As a family, the trio tries to take a trip out of town once a month- usually Northbound to Sedona or Prescott. Planning their wedding has been a pleasantly wonderful time for the creative couple- from creating their invitations to perfecting all the details that will make their wedding shine all the more. As the big day quickly approaches, Sarah and Giovanni get more and more excited to celebrate their bond with each and every one of you, while Atticus prepares to dance the night away with the ladies.
