Arriving to Portugal

We are delighted to welcome you to Braga, Portugal, for our wedding celebration. For international guests, there are two main airport options: Porto Airport (OPO) – Located approximately 53 kilometers from Braga, Porto is the most convenient airport. • Travel time by car or taxi is around 35–40 minutes. • Direct shuttle and bus services (such as Get Bus and FlixBus) are also available, taking approximately 40–50 minutes. Lisbon Airport (LIS) – Situated roughly 360 kilometers from Braga. • The high-speed train (Alfa Pendular or Intercidades) from Lisbon’s Oriente station takes about 3 hours and 20–30 minutes. • Bus options are also available and generally take 4 to 4.5 hours. We highly recommend making time to explore Lisbon, Porto, and Braga during your visit. Each city offers its own unique charm—Lisbon with its historic neighborhoods and ocean views, Porto with its riverside beauty and wine culture, and Braga with its rich history, beautiful architecture, and warm hospitality. All three are wonderful destinations with plenty to see and do, and we encourage you to enjoy the journey so your trip feels relaxed and unrushed.
