Matron of Honor
My bestie for life. We met as gymnastics teammates at Eastern Michigan University and soon after became roommates. When we weren’t in practice or in class, you’d find us making s’mores over the stove or embarking on last minute, middle of the night adventures. Mickayla is my ride or die; she has a passionate, honest, driven heart of gold. No matter the distance between us or how long it's been since we've seen each other, we always pick back up where we left off when we're together. I am so grateful to have her standing next to me when I tie the knot.
Best Woman
Kara and I met in high school when she was a soccer and basketball star and I was sitting the bench thinking about the next angsty song I was going to write. We have been besties ever since. Kara is relentless in her friendship and I swear would take on armies to look out for me. She's always in my corner, encouraging me to do what I love and live the *best life of my life*. She's been by my side through thick and thin and now I've asked her to catch me if I faint when Lindsey walks down the aisle.

China is like a sister to me. We navigated childhood together starting in middle school. We weaved between each others' families like they were our own and spent our free time skateboarding, wakeboarding, tubing and generally causing trouble. After childhood, we've seen each other through all of life's milestones: college, moving across the country, career changes, and most recently finding and marrying our better halves. I'm so lucky to have her in my life always, especially on my wedding day.

Kat and I went to rival high schools and met when she came to one of my shows in Downtown Raleigh. She knew I was headed to Carolina and she was already conspiring about taking me to the best parties when I got to campus. Kat has been an absolute rock of a friend; I can count on her for a pick me up or for a rocking good time. I also take 100% credit for playing matchmaker when her long-time-crush Hanna finally decided she was interested! You're welcome.

I love you. No hugs. Here's a shot of fireball. Haha JUST KIDDING! Monica was my college teammate at EMU, and while we certainly had our times together in college, our friendship changed forever when she convinced me to move to North Carolina to coach gymnastics with her. We've been through so much in the last 7 years. I know for sure I couldn't have made it without her, lunch orders of Chipotle and Starbucks, and frequent adult sleepovers . She's my forever travel buddy and best friend, and I am so excited to have her next to me while Auntie Lala and Aunt Tee tie the knot.

Hanna and I went to high school together, but it wasn't until I started playing rugby at Carolina that we really forged our lifelong friendship. Hanna and I lived together in the UNC Rugby house where Hanna was equal parts caretaker and bad influence. She was equally likely to cook me pumpkin pancakes for breakfast as she was to tell me to chug twice the beer for losing a card game. This dichotomy has not disappeared in adulthood, especially now that they live right down the road. I am thrilled that she and Kat fell in love, was a sobbing mess at their wedding, and can't wait for her to stand next to me on my wedding day.

We went to rival high schools, but luckily we met doing gymnastics together at Orlando Metro and became fast friends. I love Jolene so much that I followed her from club to college gymnastics at EMU to gym crew after college, meaning we actively flipped around together for over 10 years. Jolene is a fierce friend and excellent wingman; she always knew the best places to have a good time in Orlando. I'm lucky to have her in my corner, especially on my big day.

I was going to say we met playing rugby at UNC, but upon reflection that's not true. We met when she answered the door at Kara Baldy's house party before I even started my freshman year. Foreshadowing? Destiny? You decide. Alongside Hanna, Katie has been the instigator of some of my most questionable decisions, including but not limited to creating a Labyrinth movie drinking game on a Tuesday/school night. 0/10 would not recommend. Katie is equal parts wise sage and clown; I can call her for the most serious life advice or to cry laugh for an hour, total toss up. I am so grateful for everything she's been for me, and am lucky to have her next to me for the biggest day of my life.
