Marriage has a nice ring to it.

Dalton and I met on a blind date shortly after I moved back to Georgia. We were set up by our mutual friend, Amber. While I was out with my friends, Amber said that she knows a guy that I might like. I didn’t think much of it at the time so I told her he can look me up on Instagram if he wanted. I had a message from him by the time I got home that night. After some chit-chat, he asked me out on a date for the next weekend. We met up at Cheddar’s and then went back to his apartment to watch "Pulp Fiction" after a conversation about our favorite movies. We have talked every day since.

He texted me that week and said he wanted us to have a date night. He wanted to take me to Cheddar's. We had a very nice, normal date night and I was very happy. When we got back to my house, I noticed the back yard gate was open, which made me nervous for my dog. He suggested we walk into the back yard through the gate. We walked up the path to the porch where I noticed a Jack-o-lantern on the table. Carved in it, was a huge question mark. It took probably three seconds for me to realize he was going to propose. I looked at him, he took my hands, and I immediately started bawling. I was so happy that I can't even remember anything he said. But I do remember screaming when I saw the ring, and being totally convinced I was dreaming. I said yes without a doubt in my mind. It took a few moments, but I eventually came back to reality. I looked up to see my parents, my siblings, Dalton's mom and sister, everyone. They all hid this from me for five months. I never saw this coming. It was perfect.
