What's the overall vibe for the weekend?

Bachelorette and wedding weekend in one! We thought what better than a fall weekend in Saugatuck with our favorite people. We'll reach out with more wedding-related details in a bit.

How long should we plan to be there?

Answer

We want everyone to come for as much as time allows. No worries if you cannot make the entire weekend. Here's a high-level schedule of the weekend. Come as early as Thursday night, 10/1. We'll have a welcome bonfire and chill night. Friday 10/2 will likely be a day to explore Saugatuck, shop, eat. Friday night will be our official Bachelorette party night. Getting ready together, and ceremony on 10/3! Group brunch together at the house on 10/4 to recap the weekend before all heading out.

Where would we stay?

Answer

All of our friends are staying with us - on us! We rented two big houses and have more than enough space for our wedding parties and plus ones. No need to book any accommodations, we gotchu covered. Everyone should have their own rooms! For family, we recommend you stay at AmericInn by Wyndham Douglas/Saugatuck 2905 Blue Star Hwy, Douglas, MI 49406

Dress Code?

Answer

We're planning an intimate, nice wedding! We ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. We're hoping everyone can join us in dressing in a fall color palette - think forest green, plum, browns, and of course black is fine! We ask that you avoid wearing blue (a bit of navy is ok) as Cathy's mom will be there as her 'something blue' and the color is reserved for Mary! Take a look at the Colors tab for some inspo!
