What accommodations are available for out of town guests?

We have arranged room blocks at 2 local hotels to ensure your comfort. Please click on the "Travel" tab for specifics. Hotels in Charlottesville fill quickly in the fall, please book early to guarantee availability and rate.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony & reception will take place at Keswick Vineyards, 1575 Keswick Winery Drive, Keswick, VA, 22947. It is located approximately 25 mins from the Omni Charlottesville, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Charlottesville. Parking is available.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30p. Please plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes in advance.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although a bit early to be specific, we can expect highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Evening lows are traditionally in the mid to high 50s. You may be comfortable bringing a wrap.

What is the dress code? What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal. Suits for men and cocktail attire for women. PLEASE NOTE: The event will be outdoors (with heaters if necessary). Women will likely be most comfortable in wedges, block heels, or flats.

Is transportation offered?

Answer

Yes. We will provide bus transportation to the venue and back from the Omni Charlottesville and Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Charlottesville. Times and pick-up locations will be posted at the hotels.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We want to be sure we are all present & the hired professional photographers get the best shots, so we are requesting no photos be taken during the ceremony. There will be plenty of time after during Cocktails, Dinner & Dancing! And we hope you will share them.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will include the names of all invited guests.
