Catherine welcomed her little sister and oldest best friend, Emily, on June 9th, 1998 when Catherine was just five and a half years old. They have fond memories of growing up together, and even shared an apartment for four years while Emily finished her undergrad at Eastern Michigan University. Emily is often Catherine's go-to person for all things fashion and makeup, and feels blessed to have Emily standing by her side on her big day. They're sisters by blood, best friends by choice.
Katlin Brisbois

Katlin and Catherine are cousins who grew up together just a town away from each other. During their childhood they would often wear matching outfits, and make up dance routines to Aaron Carter or Britney Spears. Katlin's father (Catherine's Uncle Bill) was their #1 audience member during their routines. When Uncle Bill wasn't in the audience, he was eagerly teaching them vital information about hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors. Katlin shares a love for cooking and cherishes the family periogi recipe as much as Catherine does. She is now an Occupational therapist and a busy mom of two beautiful girls, Wren and Eloise.
Rosemary Edds

Rosemary is Catherine's cousin who shares the same love for dogs and shopping that Catherine does. Rosemary spent a lot of her childhood moving around the country for her father's job. She's lived everywhere from St. Louis, Colorado Springs, Omaha, and even Las Vegas! Catherine enjoyed visiting wherever Rosemary lived, and has so many fun memories of spending time in the various cities. Rosemary now lives in the Grand Blanc area and is an EMT, as well as a busy mother to a beautiful daughter named Stella. Catherine appreciates any time she gets to catch up and spend a moment with Rosemary.
Jane Cottrell

Jane is Catherine's cousin who grew up only a few minutes away from Catherine during their childhood. Catherine has many fun memories of babysitting Jane at her Aunt Cindy's house. They would often practice gymnastics, watch movies, paint their nails, or make crafts to pass the time. It wasn't a successful night unless they busted out the hot glue gun to create an art project together. Even as a little girl Jane always knew what to say to make Catherine laugh, and still does so to this day.
Julia Hanselman

Julia is the youngest of Catherine's cousins, and is often referred to as the "baby". She's currently a student at Northern Michigan University, and has big plans after graduation to become an entrepreneur. Catherine enjoys spending time with Julia when she's home from school and cannot believe how beautiful and grown up she is getting.
Lauren Slagter

Lauren is Catherine's best friend from college. Her and Lauren met while working at a restaurant together their Junior year. They quickly bonded over their love for goofy humor as it helped pass the time during their long shifts. Lauren currently lives in Grand Rapids, but that hasn't changed how close their bond is. Catherine was also maid of honor in Lauren's wedding, and is so excited to have Lauren be a part of her bridal party as well.

Mabel is Catherine's first cousin once removed. She is the first born of all the grandchildren on Catherine's mother's side of the family. She is also Bill Edds' (the officiant) first born daughter. Catherine is so excited to have Mabel help kick off the ceremony as she carries out her flower girl duties!
