Cincinnati Bengals vs Green Bay Packers Preseason Game

The odds that Catherine's team (Bengals) and Patrick's team (Packers) would play the weekend of their wedding in Cincinnati were close to none, but here we are with this incredible scheduling! Although it is a preseason game, Paycor Stadium and a home game with the Cincinnati Bengals are not to be missed. The link to buy tickets is below. You might even catch a glimpse of the wedding party at the rehearsal dinner, where our families will be together on a riverboat passing by the game!

Western & Southern Open

For tennis fans, The Western & Southern Open begins the day after our wedding just north of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio. This event is the oldest professional tennis tournament in the United States played in the city of its origin, and is a fantastic way to get up close and see the world’s best tennis players. The facility is top of the line and the event is a family favorite and family friendly; Catherine grew up attending matches and working at the open every summer. Factory 52

Factory 52 is a new space in Cincinnati - food hall, breweries, ice cream, and shops, they have it all! 5 minute drive from the Rookwood hotels, this is a great place to grab a bit with a smaller or larger group

Skyline Chili

There are many locations across Cincinnati and you cannot go wrong going to this famous Cincinnati chili parlor. A favorite of the Strietmann’s and the Lake’s, we eat here as a first stop when returning to Cincinnati.

Graeter's Ice Cream

There are locations throughout Cincinnati, but Hyde Park Square is our favorite. This Cincinnati-based ice cream parlor is a must visit when in town! Black raspberry chip is our favorite flavor

Great American Ball Park

Home to America’s first baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds, Great American Ballpark is a classic Cincinnati experience. The Reds are not in town this weekend, but you can tour the Reds Hall of Fame to learn about the history of baseball.
