Question

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There are many great options to grab a drink near St. Rose Church; we would highly recommend Pearl's Bar which is a 4 minute drive from the church. Fulton Yards Coffee & Spirits, The Hi-Mark, and EMMA: Wine with Friends are also nearby. Mount Adams is also a quick Uber ride away, an iconic Cincinnati neighborhood with many coffee and bar options, our favorites being The Blind Lemon and The Hilltop.

Should I wear my military dress attire (for past and present service members)?

Answer

All members of the Armed Services (past and present) are welcome to join the groom in wearing military dress attire. There is time between the ceremony and reception, during which you could change out of your dress attire, if you'd wish!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, St. Rose Church and French Park both have ample parking. Cincinnati is also a very ride share friendly city, with Uber and Lyft regularly running.

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, of course! We would love to celebrate with you and your whole family. During the reception, we will have babysitters provided upstairs at the French House (with the reception just outside, tented off of the house). We ask for all small children and babies under 6 years old be upstairs with the babysitters from the start of the reception through dinner, as there will not be seats for them and dinner is adults and older children-only. Instead, they can play with the babysitters until dancing begins. We will be providing boxed dinners for them via our caterer, but feel free to leave the sitters with any snacks, food, toys, or games they may enjoy.
