Where exactly should I park?

Answer

The metered spaces indicated in the picture above (along Alameda) are free on the weekend. If they are full or you would prefer to park in the garage, please use El Presidio Garage (also in the picture) which is underground directly west of the Historic Courthouse. Take the elevator to P level (for Park) and walk towards the domed Courthouse through the Memorial. We recommend arriving around 4pm to allow enough time to park and find a seat as we plan to begin the ceremony at 4:30pm. If you're early, the Southern Arizona Heritage and Visitor Center will be open and if you're really early, check out the UA Gem and Mineral Museum. We will cover parking for El Presidio Garage. There will be parking vouchers at the reception for you to show the parking guard as you exit to waive the parking fee. This will be for El Presidio Garage only and you will need to provide your ticket and the voucher upon exit.
