Friday Night Beach Sunset & Bonfire

We will have limited shade. Evening breezes and sundown may be chilly so a light jacket or sweater/sweatshirt is recommended.

Please join us for a casual, family friendly summer evening at the beach: watch the sunset, have a bonfire, and get the weekend started! We have reserved picnic site #7, between the the Main Lifeguard Tower and the Doho Cafe, adjacent to the Volleyball Courts on the beach. The site has plenty of space (6 picnic tables, 4 bbq grills, and a fire ring) and we have the space reserved all day. If you want to come early and enjoy the beach as well we will be occupying the space beginning at noon. We will have burgers, beyond burgers, sodas and water, and chips and s'mores to share for the evening; if you’re local feel free to bring something else you'd like to eat or drink, as well as any beach gear you may want to use like a beach chair. Please bring a sweater or jacket and some warm clothes with you- it can get cold, windy, and/or foggy when the sun sets, and while we will have a fire- that may not be enough to keep you warm!
