FAQs

TIME ZONE REMINDER The St. Joseph, Michigan area is in the Eastern Time Zone - which is 1 hour ahead of Chicago (Central Time Zone). All times listed below are in EASTERN TIME. Please plan accordingly for travel, the ceremony, and all weekend events!
Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Tabor Hill beginning at 4:00 PM EST. The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by a reception in a beautiful covered tent on-site, complete with cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Please note that the Tabor Hill Wedding Venue is different from the Tabor Hill Winery Restaurant. The exact address is 333 Mount Tabor Rd, Buchanan, MI 49107. You will see a big sign at the end of the road that says "Private Events" and you will take that dirt drive down through the vineyards until you see the Estate Tent!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We’re embracing a fall-inspired color palette to complement our outdoor winery setting, so think polished wedding looks in fall tones—suits, dresses, and dressy separates are perfect. The ceremony will be outdoors, so we suggest shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM. If you’re not taking the shuttle, we recommend arriving around 3:40 PM so you have plenty of time to park and get settled before the celebration begins.

Question

Is Parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available on-site at Tabor Hill and is free for all guests.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from Tabor Hill from the hotels listed on the Travel Page of this website. Shuttles will also be available for the after party. More details on the shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

Question

Are Ubers or ride shares available?

Answer

Ride share services like Uber and Lyft are very limited and often not available in the area. If you plan to drink, we recommend using the provided shuttles or arranging transportation in advance.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend booking one of the hotels listed on the Travel Page of our website so you can take advantage of the shuttle transportation we’re providing. If you prefer to stay at an Airbnb or elsewhere, that’s completely fine — you’ll just be responsible for your own transportation and ride shares such as Uber are not available in the area.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend will be adults only… except for our ring bearers!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! To help with planning, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

Question

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the meal! Please share any dietary restrictions or allergies with your RSVP so we can make sure you’re taken care of.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have Tabor Hill wines, Round Barn beers and spirits, plus two signature cocktails. Non-alcoholic options like soda, lemonade, and juice will also be available, so everyone can toast to the day!
