What are the Covid-19 Precautions?

Answer

The Ranch at Laguna Beach has enacted wellbeing practices throughout the resort to keep both its guests and staff safe. Information about these practices can be found here: https://www.theranchlb.com/wellbeing-practices The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outside, while the dancing will be held in the resort's ballroom which has an upgraded air handling and monitoring system as well has hospital grade filtration. Though there will be heaters and firepits outside for warmth, we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap if you get cold. The majority of our guest are fully vaccinated and for them, masks are optional. Because we have immunocompromised guests, we kindly ask all our guests to be vaccinated. Those who are unvaccinated are required to be masked at all times, except while eating and drinking. For these reasons, our assessment is that there is a low risk of COVID-19 transmission. We strongly encourage every guest to consider their own risk tolerance.

Do you have a block of rooms set aside for guests?

Answer

Yes! One of the reasons we absolutely fell in love with The Ranch is because *literally everything* can be found onsite! There are plenty of beautiful rooms, a pool, and great bars and restaurant. You can even play golf on the nine-hole course, which is rated one of the best nine-hole courses out there! Please check out our "Travel" page for specific information about the room block. (Please note: if you don't see the type of room you'd like in the list when you click on the link, please let us know via email and we will ask The Ranch to add more!)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to size restrictions of the venue, unfortunately we must keep our guest number low. Thank you for your understanding! While RSVPing, if you see an extra field for "guest", then you can bring a plus one! If it says "guest name unknown", please input their first and last names before submitting their RSVP.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, also due to venue size, we are unable to accommodate little ones outside of immediate family and if they are invited, they will be on the RSVP website. Otherwise, we’re kindly requesting that you come and enjoy a kid-free night with us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is considered to be "formal", meaning suits and ties or cocktail dresses, but you're welcome to wear tuxedos or long gowns if you're feeling fancy. We ask please for no jeans or shorts. Those wearing heels, please note: the ceremony is down a slight grassy hill near trees. You're always welcome to bring a change of shoes if you want to wear your heels and then change later - we just want you to be careful!

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! The venue has complimentary valet parking. The lot is first come, first serve, but there should be enough for all our guests. Please follow the signs along the road to get to the valet lot.

What kind of food will be available?

Answer

We'll have appetizers during cocktail hour and your choice of meal to follow for dinner. There will also be late night snacks and drinks! Those with dietary restrictions will be able to fill out a form in the RSVP page once that is live.
