Before your trip, we recommend checking the weather forecast. Colorado has more than 300 days of sunshine each year, so we are hopeful for a beautiful and sunny wedding weekend, but the weather is often unpredictable and can quickly change in the mountains. It’s best to pack and wear layers. Please note both the rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour will be hosted outside.
Cocktail attire is considered semi-formal but dress for the elements! Formal dark suit and jacket with a tie for him. Short/long cocktail dresses or dressy evening separates for her. Some of our events will be held outdoors, so we recommend you bring a wrap or sweater.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we ask that you just come and get to know our other great friends & family.
Altitude sickness can hit anyone, regardless of physical condition or age. The most common symptoms include headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, and unrestful sleep. The key to surviving high altitude is staying hydrated, be aware of the higher potency to alcohol (general rule is 2:1 in the mountains), and give yourself enough time to adjust. Altitude sickness usually passes after 24 hours.
