Catherine and Jackson met at Mullen High School when Catherine was a sophomore and Jackson was a junior. Prior to meeting, Catherine had noticed Jackson around school, especially earlier that week in the school parking lot. Catherine couldn’t help but notice Jackson hop out of his Tahoe with his curly tousled hair, earrings, and untucked school uniform polo. Little did she know, Jackson had noticed her as well, 4 months earlier at a Halloween party. Catherine and Jackson finally met on February 12th, 2011 at Mullen High School’s Sadie Hawkins Dance. Across the room, Jackson spotted Catherine wearing a black dress with a pink flower in her hair. Jackson thought she probably wouldn’t want to dance with him, but his friend encouraged him to just give it a shot. She of course said yes, as she couldn’t resist his sweater vest, and they ended up dancing all night. The night ended with Jackson flailing Catherine’s arms in the air to Sweet Caroline and finally asking for her number. This was the beginning of many late-night phone calls, locker hangouts, and drives around in Jackson’s Tahoe. 9 years later, Jackson popped the question on December 24th, 2019 and the two can’t wait to tie the knot on October 2nd, 2021!
