Parking Information

There will be a parking lot available across the street (no overnight parking): City of Lakes Waldorf School, 2344 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Otherwise, feel free to use street parking. Directions to parking lot: Upon arrival, drive to the far west side of the lot to park near the basketball court/playground and follow the sidewalk behind the retaining wall to find the walking gate located on Blaisdell Ave. Use the crosswalk to cross the street and there you will find The Blaisdell on the corner of 24th street and Blaisdell Ave.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 4:30pm to allow time to find parking and a seat for the ceremony that starts at 5pm.

Should I drive or uber?

Answer

If you plan on drinking, we always recommend using Uber to be safe! There will be street parking on surrounding streets of The Blaisdell. Note there’s only parking on one side of Blaisdell Ave. If you are arriving at 4:30pm or after, feel free to use the parking lot explained above. Please use crosswalks as it’s a high traffic area— especially when leaving for the night!
