Is there a shuttle to and from the ceremony and venue?

Am I able to park my car overnight at The Round Barn venue?

Answer

Although the venue discourages overnight parking, they are allowing our guests to keep cars overnight if necessary, as long as cars are moved by 9 am Sunday 6/12.

Question

Is this an adult-only wedding celebration?

Answer

Though we love all of your children, please note that with exception of our flower girls and ring bearers, the Saturday wedding will be adult-only. With that said, we do not want to separate a newborn from his/her parents. If you have recently added to your family, your baby is welcome to join us in celebrating our special day! If your little ones are in town with a sitter Saturday, please feel free to bring them along to the Goodbye Brunch on Sunday!

Do all guests need a negative Covid test result to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes, please! Please plan to receive a negative result (either PCR or Rapid) within 3 days of the wedding. There are several free Covid testing sites nation wide, including one at the MSP Airport. Reach out to Catherine or David with any questions. Thank you so much for helping keep everyone COVID-free at our wedding!

I am coming from out of town. Should I rent a car?

Answer

We highly suggest renting a car if you are flying in from MSP Airport. The ride is about 1 hour to and from the MSP airport and Ubers/Lyfts are few in Red Wing. Please reach out to David or Catherine if you have any questions.

What is the attire?

Answer

Our theme for the weekend is "summer cocktail." We want to see summer florals, bright cocktail dresses, suit or slacks and sports jackets, tie optional. Wear what makes you feel great! We recommend block heels since there is some walking on grass.

Do I need to stay in the hotel blocks? Will there be Ubers and Lyfts?

Answer

We know that some guests may book rooms or Airbnbs outside the designated hotel blocks and some Minneapolis- and Makato-based guests may drive home after the wedding. That is totally fine! Please note that shuttle service will only be to and from the designated hotel blocks. Please plan for a safe and sober ride to and from our wedding, and keep in mind that Ubers and Lyfts are less popular in the small town of Red Wing.

Do I need to wear my dancing shoes?

Answer

Yes, please plan to wear a pair of "dancing shoes." There will be a live band, and we expect all to boogie!
