1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We’re so excited to kick off the wedding weekend by spending some relaxed time together in Colorado’s beautiful outdoors! Park days are a summer tradition we both love, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Join us for a super casual afternoon with volleyball, yard games, and plenty of time to catch up with friends and family. This is truly a come-as-you-are, picnic-style gathering. Please plan to bring your own food and drinks. We won’t have formal seating available, so feel free to bring camp chairs or picnic blankets—or just be ready to relax on the grass with us! A quick Colorado tip: the elevation, dry air, and strong sunshine can sneak up on you. We recommend drinking extra water, wearing sunscreen, and taking it easy while you adjust. Metered parking is available on the streets surrounding the park. Local guests are encouraged to bring extra seating and snacks to share with those flying in from out of town. Since this is a public park, NO ALCOHOL is allowed. Thanks!
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
On the evening before our wedding, we’ll be gathering at the church for a Holy Hour — a dedicated time of quiet prayer in the presence of the Lord as we prepare to receive the sacrament of marriage. All are warmly welcome. During this hour, there will be Eucharistic Adoration (a time of silent prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament). For those who are Catholic and would like to participate, a priest will also be available to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). It means so much to us to begin our wedding celebration grounded in prayer, and we would be honored to have you there.
6:45 pm - 9:00 pm
PLEASE READ: Join us for a relaxed evening at the park with ice cream! It will be a simple, easygoing gathering — a chance to enjoy the fresh air, and connect with friends and family. We’ve reserved covered shelters with picnic tables along the water, so there will be shaded seating and a beautiful setting to gather for sunset. Ice cream will be ready to enjoy throughout the evening. There’s no formal program — just come when you can and stay as long as you’d like. Casual attire is perfect. We’re looking forward to a sweet evening together! Since this is a public park, NO ALCOHOL is allowed. Thanks! Please park in the main lot at the intersection of West Coal Mine Avenue and S Ward St. On Google maps look for the parking lot on S Ward St/ W Coal Mine Ave intersection, but on Apple Maps, look for Hine Lake Trail starting point. Follow signs to the Pavilion from the top of the trailhead by the restroom facilities. Limited parking is also available at 6325 S Van Gordon Way.

We are so grateful to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage together in the context of a Catholic Nuptial Mass. All are warmly welcome, regardless of faith background. The Mass will include Scripture readings, a homily, our exchange of vows, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist (Holy Communion). If you are not Catholic or do not wish to receive Communion, you are welcome to remain seated or come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing. We are honored to have you witness our vows and share in this sacred moment with us.
4:00 pm - 9:15 pm
Semi-Formal Attire
Please join us for a joyful cocktail hour and reception following the Nuptial Mass in the church reception hall (same address, simply across the parking lot). We’re so excited to continue celebrating together with dinner, drinks, desserts, and plenty of time to visit with family and friends.
