When should I RSVP by?

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden party/semiformal, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, and for the sake of our lawns, we strongly encourage wearing non-heeled comfy shoes!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have a cocktail hour after the ceremony, followed by an à la carte-style grazing dinner. Beer and wine will be served throughout the reception. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you complete your online RSVP.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that guests do not take any pictures--we have hired a fantastic photographer to capture those beautiful moments for us! But during the reception, yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag us in some of your photos!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not have designated parking available for our reception (although those who have been here before will know some parking is available along Birds Road, Ferny Creek). For those who can, we strongly encourage you to share a ride and/or consider using public transit and ridesharing from our nearest station (Uber is available in the Hills!), Upper Ferntree Gully Station.
