Ceremony

From Mountain Village or Downtown Telluride, you’ll take the free Gondola up to the San Sophia Station (first stop, it is also the stop for Allreds Restaurant). Please follow the signs for the Scheurich-Olson wedding and/or the San Sophia Overlook. The ceremony site is a short, but decent climb up to the overlook. The trail is up a dirt path and the ceremony site is on grass, so please consider wearing appropriate shoes. Weather in July is usually gorgeous in Colorado, but San Sophia is over 10,000 feet in elevation, so quick afternoon thunderstorms are not uncommon. Therefore, please consider appropriate outerwear.
Reception

After the ceremony, we invite you back down the mountain for a cocktail and dinner reception at The Peaks Resort and Spa. Please take the free gondola down to Mountain Village. You’ll pass Tracks Cafe & Bar on your right. Please keep to the right of the village circle and walk down the row of shops until you reach the pond. From there, you will take a left towards The Village Table restaurant (you’ll pass a bouldering rock park). Walk past the restaurant, exit the village center where you’ll then see the bus station and head to your right, up the sidewalk. Shortly after taking the right, you’ll cross the road and head down the path to The Peaks Resort. Signage will direct you the rest of the way!
