The Cottage Inn at Lake Tahoe

This is a great spot right next to the wedding venue (less than a 2 minute walk). It also has beach access to the lake!

House Or Rental

Airbnb/VRBO

There are tons of great Airbnb's and VRBO's in the Tahoe area. Search for "Tahoe City, CA" as the Location and our wedding venue is right in the middle between "Tahoe City" and "Idlewild" on the map. There will be a small logo for a Park at that midway point called "William Kent Campground". That is right across the street from the wedding so anything near the campground will be very walkable. You are welcome to stay wherever you'd like, of course, but note that Tahoe City will be too far of a walk for most (though a very short drive). Feel free to reach out to Cate or Charlie directly before booking if you'd like to make sure it's in a good location for the weekend.

Granlibakken Tahoe

The Granlibakken is a short 5 minute drive to the wedding venue, but do not plan to walk if you stay here. This is a more cost effective option.

Flight

Reno Airport

Reno is the closest airport to Tahoe. It's about a 1 hour drive. It's a very small airport but super easy and has a lot of car rental options. There are also a variety of shuttle/transportation options from the Reno airport to the North Lake Tahoe area if you do not wish to rent a car. Ubers/Lyft are easy to get from the airport to Tahoe, but not always reliable from Tahoe back to the airport. However, there are cab services to schedule with for returns.

Flight

Sacramento Airport

Sacramento is a bit farther from Tahoe than Reno, but sometimes has better flight deals. It is about a 2 hour drive.
