We met in high school Spanish class and after a year of talking and getting to know each other, Cate decided to invite Ben to the 2015 homecoming dance, as "just friends." ;) On the night of the dance, Ben surprised Cate with a corsage and we held hands on the dance floor. Two weeks later we made it official, and the rest is history... Over the past ten years, we have made it through college long distance, moved into an apartment together in Arlington, VA, enjoyed several memorable trips abroad, and adopted our Samoyed puppy, Daisy. Ben proposed to Cate in Dana Point, California while she was on a girls trip. He coordinated the surprise with Cate's best friends and flew out to California for 24 hours to propose to her during the last night of the trip on a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. We're beyond excited to celebrate our love story with our family and friends in Spring 2026! What better way to celebrate a decade of love and show our gratitude to all of the people who have supported us along the way than by creating fun memories we'll cherish for years to come. We hope to see you there!
