Humberto Delgado Airport, LIS
LIS is about an hour south of Caldas da Rainha. This is the best airport to fly into. Many guests may choose to stay in Lisbon a few days ahead of the wedding to begin your Portuguese vacation. The Lisbon airport will be the best place to hire a rental car to make the 45 minute drive North to Caldas Da Rainha, although we recommend waiting until you are ready to drive North for the wedding before hiring a car, as there is very little parking in Lisbon. We also recommend teaming up with other guests to share a rental car! There is also an inexpensive and clean bus that shuttles from Lisbon to Caldas Da Rainha if you'd like to skip the rental car. There aren't Uber or Taxis in Caldas so if you're planning to bus from Lisbon to Caldas let us know and we'll make sure you have rides around town, but Caldas Da Rainha is also very walkable!

If you choose to arrive a few days early or want to stay for a few days after, we couldn't recommend a better area of Lisbon to stay. The Alfama is the historical part of the city, with some of the least expensive rental rates, and most picturesque views!

Caldas da Rainha is the beautiful arts city where we will be hosting our wedding events. For a place to stay from June 18th-20th, during our wedding events, Caldas da Rainha will be a great home base. There are many rental options on Air BnB and VRBO. Quinta Laranja
We have reserved this Quinta (resort style accommodations) for three nights (June 18th, 19th and 20th). We will be hosting our arrival pool party here on Wednesday, June 18th. This will be an ideal accommodation for guests with children. There are 7 units available. The cost for 3 nights in one of these units is ~$450.
