Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Catherine Maloney and Patrick Collins
Annapolis is Maryland's capital city and sits on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay. It is filled with a rich history that includes many 18th-century brick houses, the domed 1700s Maryland State House, Romanesque-style St. Anne's Episcopal Church with Tiffany glass windows and the sprawling waterfront grounds of the US Naval Academy. We have included some places you might want to visit, and really hope you enjoy your stay!

Naval Academy Tours

If you've never been to Annapolis or the Naval Academy (or if you are a graduate and still find yourself lost around the Yard), there are daily walking or electric car tours you can signup for for a dose of edu-tainment! Walking tours can be booked online in advance or in person at the visitor center and run 90 minutes from 10-3pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 11-3pm on Sundays. Reservations are required for electric car tours which run 75 minutes daily at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Downtown Annapolis

Shop around and explore downtown Annapolis on Main Street and Maryland Ave, and check out the Annapolis city dock for bay views

Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park

723 Second Street, Annapolis, MD 21403

Riverfront venue devoted to the ecology, maritime history & arts of the Chesapeake, with boat tours.

Cantler's Riverside Inn

458 Forest Beach Road, Annapolis, MD 21409

If you want to get some authentic Maryland crabs and want to venture a few minutes off the beaten path, another one of our regular spots is Cantler's. Great riverside food with water view and very casual atmosphere - get the crab dip!

Iron Rooster- Annapolis

12 Market Space, Annapolis, MD 21401

Great brunch spot right downtown near Annapolis city dock.

Naval Bagels

609 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401

Solid breakfast option and another Annapolis favorite. Maybe not as good as NYC bagels but you won't leave disappointed. The "Northerner" is underrated and can't go wrong with the "Country Boy".

Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub

63 Maryland Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401

Arguably the best Irish pub in Annapolis. Some may say Castle Bay on Main Street is better, but we'll let you decide for yourself.

Severn Inn

1993 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Annapolis, MD 21409

Upscale lunch or dinner spot across the river with a beautiful water view of the Academy.

Boatyard Bar & Grill

400 Fourth Street, Annapolis, MD 21403

One of our fav casual brunch spots across the bridge in Eastport - a short drive or water taxi or 15-20min walk from downtown Annapolis.. def get the crab benny

For all the days along the way
