Where is the venue?

The venue is Boettcher Mansion in Golden, CO. It's on 134 acres of Nature Preserve so it's a bit out of the way but the views make it worth the extra 15 minute drive! https://www.jeffco.us/1859/History

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

The venue has a strict no overnight parking policy so we encourage Uber or carpooling with a DD. We are also going to have shuttles to and from the venue several times throughout the night that we'd LOVE for you to utilize. Shuttles will leave from Denver Marriott West in Golden where there is plenty of parking but again, we encourage ubering or having a DD. We will update the times closer to the wedding but plan to be there close to 3:30!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Black tie optional. This means if you own a tux, please wear it but a nice suit is wonderful as well. And if you own a floor length dress, wear that but a nicer mid length would also be lovely. Wash your hair though.

Will there be childcare?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a carriage house within 50 ft of the reception and we are going to hire verified caregivers (my coworkers) who have been background checked. There will be activities for the kiddos so you can dance the night away!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are a few hotels in and around Golden. We have a hotel block at the Marriott West (look at the Travel page for the link). The Eddy is a really lovely hotel in the center of Golden and is about 20 minutes from the venue. There's a Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn that are both about 15 minutes from the venue and 10 minutes from downtown Golden. If you want to stay in Denver, it's about a 30 minute drive to the venue. A few great areas to stay in Denver that have lots of hotel options are in LoHi, Cherry Creek, or Glendale.
