Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, open the camera on your phone and hold it over the QR code on our wedding invitation, a link will appear. Alternatively, once on our website, click the RSVP tab and type in your name. Kindly RSVP before Tuesday, August 1st. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. If you were not given a plus one and would like to bring someone special to celebrate with you, just let Cat or Cody know and we’ll gladly accommodate.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us for our full weekend of wedding festivities at The Litchfield Inn! We will have the run of the place, with 32 beautiful rooms available on a first come, first served basis for those who are able to stay for both nights. Alternatively, we kindly invite you to stay nearby at The Heritage Hotel. We will provide a shuttle to and from The Heritage Hotel on Saturday starting at 3:00pm. There are also several small B&Bs, Inns, and vacation rental properties in the area.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

We will provide a shuttle running back and forth continuously between The Litchfield Inn and The Heritage Hotel on Saturday from 3:00pm - 11:00pm. The Litchfield Inn has ample parking available for those who will be driving to any of our events throughout the weekend. Uber is also available in Litchfield but arrival times are slow. We recommend checking Hotwire.com for rental cars from Bradley International Airport.

Question

What is a Welcome Party?

Answer

Instead of having a traditional Rehearsal Dinner, we will have a Welcome Party! We encourage everyone to join! There will be amazing games from Upstate Jamboree, BBQ from Bear’s Smokehouse that accommodates all dietary restrictions, and a top-shelf open bar. It’s going to be a blast, so please join us on Friday evening starting at 5:00pm.

Question

What should I wear on Saturday?

Answer

Our wedding will be “Festive Semi-Formal.” Colorful and festive semi-formal or cocktail attire is encouraged. Feel free to wear bright colors or patterns. Men should wear suits or jackets and slacks, but ties aren’t required. Women can wear fun colors, knee-length, midi or maxi dresses. Don’t forget to bring a shawl or sweater as the evenings may get brisk. Ladies, please do not wear white or ivory.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:00pm to be seated for the ceremony, which will start promptly at 5:15pm. We welcome you to arrive earlier at The Litchfield Inn if you'd like to mingle. A shuttle service and schedule will be provided to all guests staying at The Heritage Hotel.

Question

What should I wear on Friday?

Answer

Our Welcome Party’s dress code is garden party attire. It’s like a colorful Summer cocktail party. Floral prints are a fun option, and no suit is required for men. We will be playing fabulous lawn games from Upstate Jamboree, so please dress comfortably. Ladies, please don’t wear white or ivory.

Question

Can I bring my kids or dogs?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children at our wedding. Our dogs, Samson and Bayla, will be attended by professional handlers. Children are welcome to join the Welcome Party on Friday. If you’d like special permission to bring your pet or baby, please talk to Cat about it.

Question

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

On Friday night, the Welcome Party will be outdoors. On Saturday night, The Ceremony will be outside on the lawn, the Cocktail Hour will be an indoor/outdoor event on the patio, and The Reception will take place in The Ballroom. All events will move inside if there is inclement weather.

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

You betcha!
