We're so excited to share some of our favorite spots with you and can share more recommendations at request!
Food in Navy Yard Near the Venue:
- Bluejacket for beer and whiskey selection and to catch a game
- Solace for local beer on the water
- The Salt Line for seafood
- Osterini Morini for Italian (we loved a cooking class we took here)
- All Purpose for family friendly pizza / dining
- Chicken and Whiskey for Peruvian chicken that's more fast casual (also a Chipotle and Chopt Salad nearby)
- Maman for delicious coffee
- Bethesda Bagels (no NY bagel, but it's the best DC has)
- Albi for fine dining
Be a tourist (hotels are all metro accessible):
- Do the monuments and the Mall (Cat loves it at night!)
- Smithsonian Museums (free & fun!): Our favorites are Archives, the Post Office, Air & Space, and the Zoo!
- Rock Creek Park
- See a sports team like the Caps (hockey), Wizards (basketball), or United/Spirit (soccer)
- Arlington National Cemetery
- Capitol Building
